The XTRAC is a 308 nm excimer laser using highly targeted UVB light for the treatment of psoriasis, vitiligo, atopic dermatitis, and other skin conditions.
Psoriasis:
XTRAC is the first FDA approved laser treatment for psoriasis. Clinically proven to slow and reverse growth of psoriatic cells. The laser can treat any area of the body.
Vitiligo:
XTRAC treatments can minimize, and in many cases eliminate vitiligo patches. Safe, highly effective, and virtually no side effects. May see improvement or clearance in vitiligo in as few as 3 months.
Atopic Dermatitis:
XTRAC can help reduce itching by 81% in 4 weeks as well as provide clearance of symptoms and reduce flare-ups. No steroid or systemic side effects. Safe in kids and pregnancy.
Covered by most major insurance companies including Medicare and Medicaid, as these are deemed medically necessary treatments
Side Effects:
- The most common side effect is itching to the areas treated
- Some patients, however, experience a sunburn-like reaction or blistering at the site or an increase in pigmentation may occur.
XTRAC does not have the same drawbacks of other treatments including premature aging, skin thinning, medication resistance, or negative systemic side effects.
EFFECTIVE: Symptoms generally reduced in 10-12 treatment sessions
LONG LASTING: Typically several months free of symptoms
SIMPLE & PAINLESS: Session are short, typically 10-15 minutes and directed at only affected areas
EASY: No messy creams and complicated skin care regimens
